Abstract: In recent years, the soil pollution in China ore areas has gradually become more serious. We don't have any specialized legal systems to control ore area soilpollution and the existing mining-related environmental protection systems can not effectively prevent mining soil pollution. Therefore, understanding the soil pollution status and characteristics,the exploring and building the practical legal systems of soil pollution control have important theoretical and practical significance. From various terms of pollution channels, hazards and its characteristics, there are not substantive differences between the mining soil pollution and the general soil pollution. Learning from the successful experience of other countries and regions, the process of designing soil pollution prevention ststems is same for different regions.Therefore, the general legal systems of soil pollution prevention are also applicable to the mining soil pollution in principle. Moreover, it should also be under the mining properties and the general law of mining environmental protection to make some supplementary provisions in specialized legislation of mineral resources.
