Abstract: Based on the consultation of a great amount of literature data, several new type highly effective separation devices that are widely used now and the advanced control concept they adopt are reviewed. Commonly used testing instruments and devices in mineral processing are also described. It is held that the combination of automatic control technology with new separation processes and high efficiency energy-saving equipment is an important way to realize the progress of beneficiation technology.
