Abstract: Self-leveling floor material is made by compounding an inorganic gelatine material or organic material that is used as the matrix material with additives such as re-dispersible gelatine powder. The preparation of gypsum-based self-leveling material with FGD gypsum can turn waste into treasure and has good economic benefit and market prospect. The paper describes the basic properties of FGD gypsum and its treatment process and the study on the effect of the treatment with different crystalline form conversion agents on the performance of the self-leveling material prepared by FGD gypsum, on the effect of the composition of self-leveling material on its performance and on the microcosmic material of self-leveling material.
