Abstract: In light of the requirement for the crushing process control of concentrators, a computer control system was developed by using PLC and industrial control configuration software. GE9030 PLC was adopted as slave computer to realize the automatic control of the production equipment, interlocking protection and real time data collection; and host computer supervision station adopted Citect configuration software to design and realize the concentrated display and processing of process information, and provide full functions such as production data statistics, automatic report generation, on-line operation guidance, alarming and monitoring. This system has proved itself in real operation to be rational in system function design, reliable in operation, easy to operate and convenient for management, and able to evidently improve the production efficiency.
