Stope Stability Analysis for the Sublevel Mining Method

Abstract

Abstract: The dynamics principle of the sublevel mining method was investigated.Four sublevel mining programs were designed for the mining conditions of Youjiang river area.The movement and the failure process in sublevel mining of the overlying rocks and the shaft were simulated by the finite element analysis software ANSYS.The results showed that in the case of the fixed backfill mixture，the shaft and the overlying rocks in four mining programs were all in safety.
