Abstract: Basic characteristics of Hainan island northern lateritic limonite resources were summarized, the constraints issues of development and utilization of technology，mining land, environment and other factors were analyzed.Put forward to strengthen technology research on limonite ore beneficiation, try to rent a new model of land acquisition collected, combine of mining development to improve land remediation, improve mining the future of ecological restoration planning and other countermeasures and suggestions.
