Abstract: Pot experiments were carried out to study the effects of single treatment or combination treatment of adding sepiolite and mycorrhizal Glomus mosseae, Glomus intraradices in Pb、Zn and Cd contaminated soil on corn growth and concentrations of heavy metals in corn. The results show that the co-treatment of sepiolite and mycorrhizal Glomus intraradice can significantly increase dry weights of terraneous part and subterraneous part of corn.Compared with the single treatment with sepiolite or mycorrhiza, the mycorrhizal infection rates increased by 44.53% to 58.80% for co-treatment(sepiolite+Glomus mosseae and sepiolite+Glomus intraradice).Sepiolite can effectively block the transference of heavy metal in soil-plant system, and decrease concentrations of heavy metals in corn.On the other hand, mycorrhizal Glomus mosseae and Glomus intraradices can promote the enrichment of heavy metals in corn. Therefore, the heavy metals Pb、Cd、Zn can be removed form contaminated soil using two kinds of mycorrhiza and non-economic Crops.
