Abstract: The vanadium stone-coal in Hubei mainly occurs in the aluminum silicate minerals. The vanadium leaching rate of sulfuric acid leaching is only about 30%.The study investigated the effect of aid-leaching reagent A, B or mixture of A and B on vanadium leaching rate, separately. The results showed that both aid-leaching reagent A or B enhanced the leaching rate of vanadium. The vanadium leaching rate reached 88.5% in the experimental condition that sulfuric acid concentration was 30%, stone coal particle size 0.178 mm, temperature 90 ℃, time 8h, liquid-solid ratio 1∶1, while adding the aid-leaching reagent A 4% and B 2%.The study provided a guarantee for the realization of vanadium's extraction with a hydrometallurgical separation method.
