Abstract: Based on ore body occurrence，the relationship between development ore reserves and development engineering quantity was established，a concept of effective development roadway was put forward. From two aspects of the remain period of development ore reserves and the mining descending speed，the development system of typical metal mine was analyzed，showing as insufficient development ore reserves and delay development project. According to the effective development project，mine development project and development ore reserves were optimized，concluding that the development project index needs to increase.
