Abstract: The ordinary iron ore used in the production line of super iron concentrate in a Anhui powder metallurgical company is adopted as the raw material to make the the inverse flotation tests for producing the super iron ore with regrinding and low intensity magnetic separation to solve the problems of low recovery due to dodecylamine by adding regulators of Na2CO3, sodium silicate and starch. Then it is discussed that the productivity of inverse flotation is enhanced by improving the pulp concentration. The results show that with combination of 2 000 g/t of Na2CO3, 200 g/t of sodium silicate, 100 g/t of starch and 130 g/t of dodecylamine, the operating recovery rate of super iron concentrate in inverse flotation under 24% of pulp density was increased to 89.58% (89.27% with raw materials) from 44.61% (43.44% with raw materials) when dodecylamine applied alone. When the pulp concentrate is increased to 28%, the capacity of inverse flotation can be improved by 16.68%, and the iron recover still reach 87.69% (87.38% with raw materials).
