Abstract: Two DEM models for the dump area before and after the reclamation planning are established respectively to divide the dump area into several digging and filling map spots, calculate the digging and filling earthwork, secondly generate the centers of gravity of map spots and the distance matrix, and finally optimize the earthwork allocation by using the linear programming method.Taking Pingshuo mining inner dump reclamation engineering design as a case, the platform No.1 is selected as a typical area, and divided into 14 digging and filling map spots. The earthwork to be excavated and to be backfilled is 65.02 m3 and 64.89 m3 respectively. With the help of Lingo software, the linear programming method is adopted for the optimal earthwork allocation and the engineering drawing of earthwork allocation is made.
