Abstract: The paper introduces the geological and hydrogeological characteristics of stopeⅠin Heishan Iron Mine.The waterproof and drainage scheme for open pit is analyzed from the technical and economic index，and the tunnel drainage scheme is taken.Due to the three phases' underground mining，it is determined that the gravity tunnel drainage is adopted at first phase，the direct drainage is at second phase，and then the direct drainage is selected after comparing with the relayed drainage and the direct drainage from the technical and economic factors.
