Abstract: Xiagao iron ore will transfer its mining method from open stope into pillarless sublevel caving method due to the production needs. But there appear many goafs under resulting from the original open stope method. The resources intensive integration and goafs roof caving technology are concerned during the transferring. In the research，the stabilities of current goafs are analyzed to identify the scheme of roof caving and intensive integration of remained resources. The research provides a certain reference for the intensive integration of remained resources and the roof caving of similar mines.
