Abstract: The pillarless sublevel caving method is originally adopted in Guangshan Iron Mine.Because of poor stability of the ore,and seriously caving in mining roadway, the sublevel upwards filling stoping with rocks and cemented tailings has been applied in recent years, which can not only solve geological disasters and environmental issues caused by mining, but also effectively recover mineral resources. The mining recovery is increased from 70% to 93% and the dilution ratio decreased from 30% to 5% below.
