Abstract: To research the effects of dynamic loads on landslide stability, based on the Xinyan landslide on the Wangyan highway in Jilin Province,a finite element model was established with the help of GeoStudio, then earthquake loads with different PGAs and traffic vibration loads were input. The influence of these dynamic loads on landslide was reflected through the changes of landslide stability coefficient. Through comparing before and after the inputs,it was found that stability coefficient of landslide decreased under dynamic loads and the decrease value under the traffic vibration loads was larger than that under the earthquake loads. Therefore,it can be concluded that the landslide stress and stability are greatly influenced by these two dynamic loads, and especially the influence of traffic vibration loads is larger. The results can provide certain reference for stability evaluation and supporting design of highway landslide under dynamic loads.
