Abstract: An experimental study on influencing factors of the flowability of total tailings paste backfill slurry was carried out. The test results showed the solid concentration of slurry，the contention of fine (-20 μm) tailings particle，superplasticizer contention and the type and contention of fly-ash all obviously influenced the flowability of total tailings paste backfill slurry. The influence of fine tailing contention on the flowability of total tailings paste backfill slurry without and with superplasticizer was obviously different. 4% solid concentration of the slurry and 20% fine tailings particle contention could be increased with superplasticizer in the slurry and unchanging flowability of the slurry.
