Beneficiation and Metallurgical Experiments of a Gold Ore from Western Henan Province

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the mineralogy study of a gold ore from western Henan province，beneficiation tests on the ore was carried out by adopting the process of flotation-cyanide leaching.The results showed that through the process of one roughing，one scavenging and three cleanings-middles back to the flowsheet in turn-direct cyanide leaching for the flotation tailings，gold concentrate with Au grade of 31.20 g/t and Au recovery of 68.50% was achieved.Au recovery from pregnant leaching solution was 22.05% and total gold recovery reached 90.55%.
