Abstract: A lead-zinc ore of Inner Monggia belongs to a refractory ore, because it contains low grade of lead and zinc, among which zinc mainly occurs in marmatite, and lead-zinc minerals is fine embedded and closely associated with other minerals. Also, there are many pyrrhotite which has similar property with marmatite. According to the ore properties, the process of preferential lead flotation-low intensity magnetic separation to separate pyrrhotite from lead tailings-zinc flotation from low magnetic tailings-pyrite flotation from zinc tailings was adopted to treat this ore. Through the closed-circuit tests, lead concentrate with Pb grade of 42.27% and Pb recovery rate of 71.46%, zinc concentrate with Zn grade of 44.11% and Zn recovery of 70.93%, and S concentrate with S grade of 34.89% and S recovery of 85.66% were obtained respectively. The test provides a basis for development and utilization of this ore.
