Abstract: Based on the working principle and characteristics,on-site detection and the post data processing of EH-4 magnetotelluric imaging system,a highly weathered rock slope is detected on site to grasp the spatial distribution of its low resistivity layer.Combined with drilling data and geological analysis, the formation lithology is interpreted, and the distribution of weak interfaces is determined. The engineering practice shows that EH-4 provides advanced macro forecast for weak interfaces of the highly weathered slope which is worth to be applied and popularized in related fields.
