Abstract: A certain oxidized copper ore in Tibet contains copper 4.32%.The characteristics of this certain oxidized copper ore show as complex ore properties，high oxidation rate，and serious sliming.According to the characteristics of the ore and the special geographical environment of the ore dressing plant，an experiment of copper flotation by sulfide flotation was carried out.This experiment results indicated that under conditions of amyl xanthate used as collector，sodium sulfide and ammonium sulfate as regulators and the grinding fineness -0.074 mm passed 80%，copper concentrate with Cu grade of 19.54% and Cu recovery rate of 79.21% was obtained through the closed-circuit test process of two-roughing，three-concentration and three-cleaning，middling back to the flowsheet in order.This process has the characteristics of high efficiency and environmental protection.
