Technological Optimization on Mineral Processing of a Lead-Zinc Sulphide Ore in Huidong County,Sichuan Province

Abstract: A high-dirt lead-zinc ore in Huidong County,Sichuan Province contain main useful elements including 1.01% Pb,6.30% Zn,and 34.89 g/t Ag with lead existing in galena and zinc in sphalerite respectively.The original process has not a good effect of zinc suppression when lead floats.Even the flotation technology is complicated,the indexes of lead concentrate and zinc concentrate are still worse.XKY-02,a new type of efficient inhibitor,was introduced,mixed with zinc sulfate to inhibit zinc and float lead.Then,it was used to activate zinc concentration.With the grinding fineness of 80% passing 200 mesh,and by the process of one-roughing,two-cleaning and one-scavenging,and middling back to the flow-sheet,lead concentrate with lead grading 55.77% Ag grade of 571.72 g/t,6.70% Zn and Pb recovery of 71.05% and Ag recovery of 21.17%,and zinc concentrate with zinc grade of 56.06%,Ag grade of 244.87 g/t,Pb 1.04%,Zn recovery of 92.59% and Ag recovery of 72.99% were obtained respectively.Compared with the on-site process,the flow-sheet number is obviously less,but the index of the concentrates are greatly improved.
