Abstract: There are many geological environment problems (such as geological hazards, soil erosion and visual pollution and so on) are existed in abandoned mines,it is one of the key tasks for geological environment treatment of abandoned mines, among them, the geological environment treatment of abandoned limestone mines with broken rock slope is one the difficult problems of the geological environment treatment of abandoned mines.Based on the "three lines and three sides" abandoned mine geological environment treatment project, the typical abandoned limestone mine with typical broken rock slope is chosen as the study example, its existing geological environment problems are investigated and analyzed in detail. In view of the engineering geological characteristics of the steep slope, the slope rock is weathered and broken seriously, joints and fissures are developed, and the current situation of visual pollution and geological disaster caused by the destruction of vegetation resources and geomorphologic landscape, the corresponding treatment techniques of geological environment is proposed, the techniques such as "dual network combination" slope protection, intercepting drainage, improved spray planting slope protection and so on are adopted to deal with the geological environment problems existed in the mine.Besides that, the preliminary treatment results is conducted maintenance management and dynamic monitoring. The engineering practice results show that the slope has basically eliminated geological hazards and it is in a stable state, the slope vegetation is solid and the coverage rate is above 90%,the stable community and good ecosystem are basically formed.
