Abstract: The test study on the minimum ignition temperature of the dust cloud of sulfide ore is carried out by using the standard test device of Godbert-Greenwald constant temperature furnace.Under the given test condition, the minimum ignition temperature of sulfide dust is tested, and the influence of dust′s sulfur content, particle size and mass concentration to the sulfide dust minimum ignition temperature is also analyzed. The results show that:the minimum ignition temperatures of A,B and C dust cloud samples of sulfide ore are 386,454,512 ℃ respectively;the higher the sulfur content is,the lower the minimum ignition temperature of the dust cloud of sulfide ore would be;the smaller the particle size of dust cloud, the lower the minimum ignition temperature of the dust cloud of sulfide ore would be;with the increasing of the mass concentration of the dust cloud, its minimum ignition temperature is increased first but decreased later. The above study results can provide some reference for understanding the fire and explosive risk of the sulfide dust as well as guiding the safety production of sulfide ore mines.
