Recovery of Pb and Zn from Pb-Zn Tailings in Yunnan by Beneficiation Metallurgy Combined Process

Abstract: There is 9.87% lead,6.25% Zn in a lead-zinc tailings from Gejiu,Yunnan.Most of lead,zinc packaged each other with gangue,it is difficult to separate lead from zinc.Zinc leaching-gravity separation by shaking table experiment was put forward to recovery lead and zinc.Test results showed that:leaching temperature is 70 ℃,dosage of sulfuric acid is 15%,dosage of hydrofluoric acid is 15%,granularity of leaching materials extract is -0.5 mm,liquid-solid ratio is 1.5,leaching time is 120 min,zinc leaching rate can reach 97.02%,Pb grade of leaching residual is 15.37%,leaching residue ground to90% passing 0.045 mm,via one roughing-one cleaning gravity separation by shaking table,lead concentrate with lead grade 45.68%,0.24% Zn,lead recovery rate of 89.98% was obtained,separation effect of lead and zinc is good.After leaching process,crystalline state of leaching residual is dense,and new mineral phrase was generated;lead changes into indissolvable lead sulfate,zinc changes into soluble zinc sulfate during leaching process,lead and zinc was separated through solid-liquid separation.
