Abstract: The contents of fluorite and calcite in a Scheelite flotation tailing in Jiangxi are high with contents of CaF₂ and CaCO₃ 12.33% and 9.79% respectively.It belongs to a complex refractory secondary ore with fluorite contained.In order to efficiently recover fluorite from the secondary resources,a detailed beneficiation experiment was carried out.The results showed that the combination of acidic water glass and sodium humate effectively inhibited calcite and other gangue minerals in floatation of fluorite.Under addition of 731 oxidized paraffinum sodium salt 1 150 g/t,the total dosage of acidic water glass + sodium humate (2 750+275) g/t,and by the process of one roughing,six cleanings of coarse concentrate after regrinding,two scavengings for coarse tailings and tailings of cleaning one separately,fluorite concentrate with CaF₂ grade of 95.26% and the recovery rate of 85.37% was finally achieved,and targets at the comprehensive recovery of fluorite from scheelite tailings were well realized.
