Abstract: The status of iron mineral resources in Hebei province was summarized, especially in types, reserve and distribution of ultra low-grade magnetite resources. And the exploitation of Hebei iron mines and the supply and demand situation of iron ores were analyzed. The two kinds of refractory iron mineral resources due to its complicated mining or processing condition were introduced with some significant examples. Then, several developing suggestions for the resources were set forth.
