Abstract: Floor heave is one of common forms that causes deformation and failure of roadway. It is an important factor and key problem restricting the safety and high-efficient mining productivity, especially in deep mining and mines with complex geological conditions. Study was made on the floor heave of roadway at high ground stress and fractured swelling soft rock conditions. The floor heave mechanism was analyzed, a mechanical model for compound floor heave under complex conditions established and the constitutive equations of roadway floor plastic zone and floor pressure were deduced by dynamic pressure theory. In light of a mine case, a bolt and cable coupling support design plan was proposed and the numerical calculation was made for the stability of roadway support using FLAC-3D software. The research result shows that enhancing the support at the key part of the sliding body in the plastic zone of roadway floor can effectively control the occurrence and development of roadway floor heave.
