Abstract: Sublevel rock drilling and stage room stoping is a typical method adopted in Jinling Iron Mine. To suit continuously changing external conditions, under the common efforts of the engineering and technical personnel of the whole mine, the stoping method has now adopted a high sublevel instead of the original low sublevel, which has not only reduced the production cost but also raised the mine's technical and economical indexes such as the mining intensity, labor productivity and operation safety. It has also widened the standard design plan for stage room stoping and therefore, has a double-value of both practice and theory.
