Abstract: Mining in metal mines will generate noise, toxic gases and heavy metal pollution, producing great impact on and damage to the environment. Only through effective appraisal of these pollutions can optimal measures for their prevention and control be made. In view of this, relevancy is used to determine the relation between pollution impacts and a multi-level comprehensive fuzzy appraisal model, to make an overall evaluation and prediction of the environment influenced by the mining in metal mines and further to determine the impact risk level. The model is applied in studying the environmental pollution of real metal mines, achieving prediction results that are in good accord with the reality.
