Abstract: The dominant metallic minerals in Helongjiang includes gold, copper, lead-zinc(silver), Molybdenum and iron ones, where there are good geological conditions and great potentiality for their metallogenesis . Based on the discussion on Helongjiang's geological background for metallogenesis, the space distribution of the metallic minerals in the main metallogenic belts, and geological conditions for and potentiality of metallogenesis are studied in depth. The metallogenic features and ore prospecting potentiality of Mesozoic magmatite activity are analyzed and the ore prospecting targets of the main metallic mineral resources in Helongjiang are indicated.
