    During joint mining of open-pit and underground,the ground air leakage control was realized by laying the capping layer on the open pit.In order to study the relationship of air leakage with the capping,the porosity of the rock in seven kinds of particles sizes and the air leakage characteristics of the capping were studied and the relationship between the porosity and the capping height were determined by the laboratory analogue simulation tests,obtaining the function of the air leakage coefficient,amount of air leakage and the capping height.It provides the theoretical basis for determining the capping height for mine enterprises.

    When open-air is transferred to underground mining,the backfilling of waste rock layer has a certain impact on ore loss and dilution in the ore drawing process. There are three main factors of ore loss and dilution below backfilling of waste rock layer,backfilling thickness,and particle size of waste rock layer and its non-uniformal level. Through reprocessing the experimental data from different tests,the paper summed up the mathematical model of ore loss and dilution rate below the backfilling of waste rock layer. Combining with transition from open-pit to underground mining in stope Ⅲ of Sijiaying iron mine,the non-uniformity and particle size of the backfilling of waste rock layer are designed. Through the orthogonal experimental method of particle flow numerical simulation,the relationship of such four factors as ore dilution ratio λ,backfilling thickness h, particle diameter d, particle non-uniformity K of waste rock layer with the ore loss rate is set up,which provides a reference for the rational design of backfilling layer in similar conditions.

    Beiminghe iron mine adopted the sublevel caving mining method with large parameters. Such problems in blasting as higher bulk rate,accident in partition wall and the destruction of the eyebrow line have not been well solved for many years. This paper drew a conclusion from analyzing the fan-patterned holes blasting mechanism that the dense holes in fan-patterned plan is the basic reason for the problem above. Based on decreasing the dense of holes and changing the blast direction into the least resistant line,the in-sit experiment on improving the charge structure of blast hole was carried out and an optimization scheme was put forward to improve the blast effect.

    A new method of determining the critical strength and fatigue strength of rock subjecting to cycle loading was put forward through the tests of uniaxial compression,fatigue property of granite,white sandstone and marble.Based on the tests of the complete stress-strain curve,the fatigue tests on different high,low stress level were carried out in this method.The results showed that the critical strength was not only affected by rock's nature,but also was controlled by the stress level,especially stress amplitude.Comparing with the constants stress,the critical strength of the variable stress was lowered by 21.6%~28.8%.The test parameters and the equations acquired form this test would have practical value for the assessment of the design and safe operation in the rocks base engineering.

    A new synthetic assessment method based on the analytical hierarchy process(AHP)and grey correlation method was put forward to evaluate the stability of the underground mined-out areas. Couples of dynamic and static,quantitative and qualitative factors working on the goaf stability were taken into account,such as the rock mass structure and the geological structure factors;The AHP method was used to establish the synthetic assessment indexes system of the stability of mined-out areas and ascertain the weight matrix of the influence factors;The stability evaluation model of the mined-out areas was constructed by the grey correlation method to predict the situation of the Mined-out areas according to gray related degree. The comprehensive evaluation system was built up in Laoyachao mine,which consisted of 3 levels and 13 indexes and the correlation degree of underground mined-out areas wasr2>r7>r1>r5>r3>r9>r6>r4>r8,by using the Second-level grey correlation analysis,The results showed that the stability of 2,7,1 mines-out areas were the best,the 5,3,9,6 took second place,and the 4,8 were the worst.

    Through testing on monitoring the characteristics of the acoustic emission parameters and the characteristics of time process in rock stress,the characteristics of time in the whole process of rock deformation until failure was explored,and the relations of rocks stress-strain and energy parameters of acoustic emission between stress and time in the whole process of rock failure was found out.Through the comparative researches,it was shown that the rate of acoustic emission and the energy parameters of acoustic emission had direct relations in the process of loading of different rocks,but the size of the stress had not direct relations with the rate of acoustic emission and the energy parameters of acoustic emission.Finally,the rule of the change between the curve of stress-strain and the characteristics of acoustic emission in different rocks were obtained through the compression tests of different rocks.

    Taking the 33208 work face of Xuandong second mine as engineering background,the influence law of diluted face gas distribution caused by face wind speed is studied by numerical simulation software “Fluent”.The results show that the gas everywhere of face is diluted in different extent when the face wind speed is fixed,the law shows hogbacked shape near coal wall on the direction of perpendicular to face advance,but it is slowly decreased on other position and exist small local variation.The influence law of mix gas density distribution caused by face wind speed shows that inverse-J shape in the space from coal wall to old coal mining area and its influence is bigger near the coal wall.The direction of perpendicular to face advance shows J shape and the influence is bigger near the return airway.The range of upper corner and mix gas density is decreased as the face wind speed increased if gas emission is fixed.

    Mining transport system is one of the most important production links in open-pit mining process. Based on its deep investigation and research,the fuzzy mathematical thought is adopted to make the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation on the reliability of mine transport system,establish the evaluation system,and analyze the status of mine transportation system reliability and the problems or insufficiency. It can provide corresponding measures to further improve the reliability of transport system. In the process of judgment,the concept of information entropy is introduced. Comparing with the original method of determining weight by experts' experience,the comprehensive entropy-weight method makes it more objective and scientific. Thus,the loss of information can be reduced in judgment process and the integrity of the original message ensured.

    The powerful spatial analysis function of ArcGIS provides an essential technical support for site selection of tailing pond in mine,which is a decision-making process under the influence of multi-conditional factors related to mining economic benefits,social impacts and environmental pollution. Analytic hierarchy process (APH) can provide an effective analysis method for decision making. Taking a mine of Gejiu Tin deposit for example,the paper analyzes the key factors affecting the selection of tailing site,extracts the relevant information of spatial location,and applies the AHP technique to weigh the importance of each factor. The functional modules in GIS such as buffer analysis,and overlay analysis,are practiced to acquire the candidate tailing pond in the paper. Thus,the best site for tailing pond is determined through combining with the volume calculation. The case shows that the technique can improve the scientific and visualization standard of site selecting with applicable and simple implementation. Thus,it is worth applying widely.

    To study the effect of external factors on the surface-controlled slope stability,this paper takes the slope of Yingpanshan section of Lanqian iron mine as engineering background,and adopts the Geo-Slop software to analyze the slope stability in groundwater,seismic loads and the interaction of underground water and seismic loads respectively. The results showed that: groundwater has less impact on slope stability with safety coefficient ranging between 0.015 and 0.030;Seismic load has greater impact on slope stability,and its safety coefficient varies between 0.125 and 0.165. Under the interaction of groundwater and seismic loads,the entire slope lies in a critical stable state.

    Aiming at lots of coal resources under high-grade highway and low recovery rate,the impact of mining on high-grade highway was analyzed,and the allowed movement and deformation range of subgrade was discussed with the characteristics of high-grade highway and the settlement requirements of subgrade.With the actual field conditions,and taking a high-grade highway in a mining area as for example,the protective coal pillars of high-grade highway were remained reasonably through full theoretical calculation,to achieve the recovery of coal resource as much as possible,and control the influence of high-grade highway within the level of protection,with good social and economic benefits achieved.

    Beneficiation tests on Hongge low-grade vanadium-titanium magnetite of Panxi are carried out by the process of high-pressure roller mill-wet magnetic separation for coarse ores-iron concentration with stage grinding and weak magnetic separation for run-of-mine, and the titanium concentration process of low intensity magnetic separation-high intensity magnetic separation-flotation at the iron concentration from tailings. Then, iron concentrate with Fe grade of 57.41% and recovery of 52.88%, and titanium concentrate with TiO2 grade of 47.87% and TiO2 recovery of 39.31% are achieved. The test results show that the grinding volume in iron and titanium separation process are lowered by 34.18% and 10.19% respectively by adopting the high-pressure roller mill.

    Modified anionic collector MG-2 is a new peroxide hydroxyl collector which is synthesized with fatty acids as raw material. In the flotation tests on single mineral, the collecting performance of MG-2 on quartz is investigated, which are compared with the original fatty acids. The test results show that the collecting performance of MG-2 is superior to the original fatty acids. And its collecting ability is increased with the increase of oxidation value P and meanwhile its low temperature resistance performance is greatly improved, compared with the original fatty acids. The infrared spectrum analysis shows that MG-2 has a chemical adsorption in quartz surface.

    The influence of sodium carbonate, sodium hydroxide and sodium silicate on dispersion of hematite fines were studied. The results showed that hematite was better dispersed by sodium hydroxide and sodium silicate, compared with sodium carbonate;There is a synergistic action between the sodium hydroxide and sodium silicate on the dispersion of ultra-fine hematite. The hematite can be better dispersed with the increase of stirring speed in a range, but the dispersion becomes worse when the stirring speed exceed a critical value.

    The effects of sodium carbonate, sodium hydroxide, and sodium silicate on the dispersion behavior of ultrafine collophanite were investigated by adopting the sedimentation and liquid removal method. The results showed that comparing with sodium carbonate, sodium silicate and sodium hydroxide had no obvious effects on dispersion of ultrafine collophanite;The dispersion of collophanite was effective at a higher pH value;And the collophanite was better dispersed by improving the stirring speed to be a certain extent, but more stirring had no benefit on the dispersion.

    To improve the titanium recovery rate in high intensity magnetic separation process of Taihe Iron Mine,the proposal of adding one scavenging of SLon magnetic separator at original first stage and second stage in high intensity magnetic separation process respectively was presented. Then the laboratory tests according to this proposal were carried out. The results showed that by adding two times of scavenging of SLon magnetic separator significantly increased the titanium recovery in part of high intensity magnetic separation. And the TiO2 recovery rate of titanium concentrate was improved by 16.21%,comparing with that of the current high intensity magnetic separation. Further,TiO2 grade of titanium concentrate was not affected.

    A certain Henan gold mine with gold and arsenic content of 2.00 g/t and 1.24% belongs to the refractory gold ore with high content of As. In order to utilize the resource,this paper controls the pH of slurry with lime to depress the alkality that are needed by arsenic ores. Meanwhile,the protective agent LA is added to destroy the hydrophilic oxidized film which is formed on the surface of sulfide mineral in the condition of alkalinity. By this method,the separation of gold and arsenic has successfully achieved. In the closed test,the gold grade of gold concentrate can reach 68.00 g/t with the gold recovery of 78.43%,and the arsenic content of only 0.37%. The mechanism analysis shows that as the gold carrier is the arsenic-containing gold mineral of sulfide,and for the difference of the thermodynamics stability of arsenic and sulfide mineral,it is feasible to separate gold and arsenic in theory by adding protective agent LA to destroy the hydrophilic oxidized film of the sulfide mineral surface in alkalinity condition,thus providing a theoretical basis for test results.

    A certain high-sulfur copper ore in Guangxi contains high content of easy floating siliceous mineral,such as talc. The process of low intensity magnetic separation-copper floating-sulfur floating is carried out on the field. There,except for pyrrhotite well recovered by weak magnetic separation,it is difficult to obtain the qualified concentrate from flotation of chalcopyrite and pyrite due to the interference of silica minerals. Based on a large number of tests,the process of low intensity magnetic separation-mixing flotation of chalcopyrite and siliceous minerals-shaking table separation for mixing flotation of silicon and copper concentrate - mixing flotation of pyrite from tailings is adopted to treat this ore. By this way,sulfur concentrate with S grade and recovery of 38.69% and 64.48% by magnetic separation,and 44.57% and 30.99% by flotation,and copper concentrate with Cu grade and recovery of 13.87% and 63.89% are realized respectively. So the copper and sulfur minerals can be effectively recovered.

    A copper-lead-zinc multi-metal sulfide mine in Tibet lives in a complex environment and is lack of water, which restricts the exploitation of mine. Based on the detailed conditioning tests, the closed-circuit flotation tests are made with fresh water and recycling water by the flow-sheet of copper-lead bulk flotation, copper and lead separation of flotation concentrate, and zinc flotation from tailings, The results showed that with the recycled water, copper concentrate with a Cu grade of 26.44% and a recovery of 89.67%, lead concentrate with a lead grade of 62.13% and a recovery of 84.15% and zinc concentrate with a zinc grade of 47.03% and a recovery of 73.16% were obtained respectively. With the fresh water, all technical indexes had no much difference, but the recovery of wastewater reached 85%. This research provides a technical basis for solving the crisis of water resources.

    The metal minerals of Inner Mongolia Copper and Molybdenum ore mainly exist in pyrite, next in chalcopyrite and molybdenite. Molybdenite which closely and complexly co-exists with other minerals in small particle, is difficult to be separated. Beneficiation tests on this ore were carried out by adopting the flow-sheet of bulk flotation with stage grindings to separate Mo, Cu, S. Then, molybdenum concentrate grading at 46.30% with a 74.66% Mo recovery, and copper concentrate grading at 23.50% at a 70.16% Cu recovery, sulfur concentrate grading at 35.60% with a 79.55% recovery were obtained.

    Mg-Al layered double hydroxides were synthesized by liquid-phase coprecipitation, using brucite and Al(NO3)3·9H2O as Mg and Al sources. The influence rule of Mg2+ concentrition, crystallizing time and crystallizing temperature on the crystal structure, particle size and crystal selective growth direction was investigated, and the characteristics of the synthesis were described by XRD and SEM. The results showed that with the increase of Mg2+ concentration, the crystallinity of Mg-Al layered double hydroxides decreased and particle size became smaller, which is harmful for the development and growth of Mg-Al layered double hydroxides;With the constant of Mg2+ concentration, increasing crystallizing time at the same crystallizing temperature or increasing crystallizing temperature at the same crystallizing time, the crystallinity of Mg-Al layered double hydroxides tends to be integrated and its particle size becomes larger. The size of crystallites in a direction grows faster than that in c direction, that is, the crystal growth rate of [110] is greater than that of [003]. The nanoscale Mg-Al layered double hydroxides are obtained on the condition that the Mg2+ concentration, crystallizing time and temperature are 0.12 mol/L, 80 ℃ and 8 h, respectively.

    The process mineralogy study was made to identify the mineral composition, occurrence forms of copper-nickel, and the dissemination characteristics of main minerals in low-grade copper-nickel ores of Jinchuan No.3 deposit. The results showed that copper and nickel ores mainly occurs in form of pentlandite, violarite, chalcopyrite and wallerite, but other sulfides and gangues have close and complex dissemination relation with these minerals. Serpentine has a critical argillic alteration, which brings unfavorable effect on the separation of copper and nickel.

    Assessment on potentiality of the poly-metallic mineral resources in Yemaquan Area,Eastern Kunlun was performed,combining weights-of-evidence model with GIS spatial analysis technology.Firstly,based on the analysis of metallogenic geology background,the ore-controlled variables were selected to determine its optimal threshold with the proximity analysis method of weights-of-evidence model.Secondly,the independence hypothesis testing of six evidences was made based on the chi-square tests condition.Finally,a posterior probability map was produced by weights-of-evidence model based on six binary evidential maps.According to the variations of posterior probability and cumulative area,the study area was classified into three target zones respectively (high potential,moderate potential and low potential),of which high potential areas occupied 3.4% of the total area and contained 13 of 21 (approximately 62%) deposits,and moderate potential areas occupied 6.2% of the total area and contained 5 (approximately 24%) deposits.The total prediction accuracy is approximately 86%,showing it is an effective prediction.

    The interference stripes of SAR image was obtained by using radar data of the European Space Agency ENVISAT ASAR. Through monitoring land subsidence in Xiatuancheng Iron Mine in Wu'an city by means of two-pass and three-pass differential interferometry,the maximum subsidence value and the distribution of subsidence zone were determined,with combination of the SRTM DEM data. And the technology of large scale and high accurate land subsidence monitoring without target and time domain was preliminarily explored. Then the main factors of affecting the accuracy of final results were got.

    Based on the analysis of geological conditions of mine,characteristics of dam structures and surrounding environment,and combining with the characteristic and feature of hidden troubles in tailings dam,the high-density electrical method and the transient surface wave method are used to investigate the distribution range,scale and embedding depth of the hidden trouble,and the density of the dam material,thus offering a reference for treating the seeped tailings dam and for the stability and safety evaluation.

    This paper introduces a technique about how to triangulate the surface of ore body with the mineral profile contours of prospecting line,and build up the ore body's 3D visual model. The 3D ore body surface modeling technique mainly contains contouring the mineral profiles within prospecting line,triangulating the neighbouring contours,triangulating inside single contours. As ore bodies' structures are always complex,it is proposed to use the Convex Hull Projection Method and the Convex Vertex Gradually Removing Method to solve the triangulation problems between the neighboring concave contours,and inside the concave contour so as to build the 3D visual model for complex ore-body. The application proves the method raised in this paper could build up the 3D ore body surface model which can meet the reality according to the exploration data in mining area.

    GHC1545 permanent magnet drum separator with drum body's diameter of 1 500 mm and length of 4 500 mm was newly developed, which adopted the compound magnetic poles with different structure and multi-gradient extruded magnetic system. Its magnetic angle is 140°, the average intensity of magnetic field is 180 mT and the flow capacity of slurry is 600~1 000 m3/h. In Gongchangling dressing plant, the industrial experiments in the first workshop showed that single GHC1545 magnetic separator can match the handling capacity of 274 t/h of MQY5067 overflow ball mill for dry ores. Under the condition of iron concentrate in the same grade, the recovery of iron concentrate was increased by 1.97% than that of other series CTB1232 magnetic separators.

    The paper established a rock image segmentation model and developed a reliable,simple and highly efficient rock fragmentation analysis system based on computer image processing technology in the MATLAB environment,which realized the acquisition of original rock image,derivation of the image resolution,image preprocessing,cutting of the fusion rocks,calculation of the rock geometry size and generation of size classification curve by the processing of computer. The system testing results showed that it had a high measurement precision,which can meet the practical requirements,and played an important rule in blasting design optimization as well.

    Safety investment is a safeguarding force to mining,and one of main reasons for the increased growth rate of Total Factor Productivity (TFP) as well.To figure out the contribution of the safety investment to mining economic growth,a new production safety index system with six principal items was constructed.The study shows that safety level in China mining production was improved continuously more than 17 times during 1991-2008.Then the co-integration theory and dynamic construction model was adopted to establish the mining economic growth model.The empirical results indicated that the investment of labor and capital are still major factors to promote economic growth of mining in our country.The production safety index not only contributed the short-term GDP growth of mining industry,but promoted the long-term elasticity coefficient at 8.8%.

    Due to the excessive sulfide in wastewater discharged from large-scale lead-zinc dressing plant,the ultrasound-assisted oxidation-coagulation sedimentation method was used to find out the S2- removal effect with the variation of the type and dosage of the oxidant,the coagulant's type and dosage and the reaction time of ultrasonic.The results showed that: at room temperature,with addition of the oxidant H2O2 of 20 mg/L,and the coagulant FeSO4 dosage of 150 mg/L,coagulant-assisted polyacrylamide of 1.0 mg/L,under the assistance of ultrasonic wave at 20 min stirring,S2- ion removal rate could reach above 95%,and its content can be reduced to 0.14 mg/L below,which leads to the wastewater quality reach the national emission standards.

    The forecasting and pre-warning for shaft disaster is an important guarantee for safety production of coal mine. Based on the analysis of deformation monitoring data of a Yanzhou mine shaft well,it is proposed to adopt maximum Lyapunov index and correlation dimension to describe the system's chaos characteristics. The embedding dimension is implied to determine the input dimension of SVM model in order to establish the relationship of deformation and time,the inside and outside precision is introduced to evaluate the model's accuracy and reliability. Compared to the prediction results of the BP neural network,it is found that the SVM model has good fitting capability as well as good predicting ability. This study has an important guiding significance to disaster monitoring and treatment of the main shaft.

    The electric arc furnace dust in Jiangsu Sugang Group contains Zn content of 15.4% and is mainly embedded in zinc ferrite. Results of the leaching tests on this dust showed that only 34.0% of zinc was extracted when sodium hydroxide as lixiviant in alkaline leaching. And about 98.7% of zinc was leached out with sulphuric acid as lixiviant under the experimental conditions of stirring at 420 r/min, 200 g/L of H2SO4, reaction temperature 90 ℃, liquid to solid ratio 10∶1 and reaction time 2 h.

    According to the major elements analysis, the classification of tailings in Gejiu tin-polymetallic mine was made by the petrochemistry. For high iron content in tailings, the occurrence of iron was known by the artificial heavy minerals analysis. Based on this, Iron resource's availability in the tailings was evaluated. By adopting the X-ray diffraction, the paper investigated the mineral composition of tailings in this area.     The load-bearing standard brick was prepared by coal ash from a power plant of Baotou by wet thermo-curing method under alkaline compound activator,with addition of small quantity of cement and river sand.Through the single-factor experiments,the bricks with fly ash contents of up to 58.3% were obtained and its compressive strength of the brick reached 18.7 MPa,and bending strength 3.4 MPa at thermo-curing of 28 d.Then,some factors influencing the hardness of the brick were analyzed.
