Progress in Process and Technology for Titanium Extraction from V-Bearing Titanomagnetite Ore in Panzhihua-Xichang Region

摘要: 攀钢集团选钛厂是攀枝花-西昌地区钒钛磁铁矿提钛工艺的代表。分析了选铁尾矿中提钛技术从20世纪80年代至今的重要工艺和设备的技术创新举措,包括浓缩、分级、脱泥、强磁、重选、电选新设备的利用、粗选工艺流程优化、微细粒钛铁矿回收等。认为该选钛技术已达到国际先进水平。提出了今后开展高炉渣中提钛、回收超微细钛铁矿等的研究思路。

Abstract: Titanium Concentrator of Pan Steel's Group can represent the titanium extraction technology for V-Bearing Titanomagnetite Ore in Panzhihua-Xichang Region. The paper analyzes the technical innovations in the important process and equipment for the titanium extraction from iron tailings since the eighties in 20th century, including the application of new equipment for thickening, classification, desliming, high intensity magnetic separation, gravity separation, and electric separation, the optimization of the roughing process, fine titanium ore recovery, etc. Its titanium separation technology is considered to reach the internationally advanced level. The thoughts on the future research for titanium extraction from blast furnace and ultrafine ilmenite are given.
