摘要: 随着GML规范的不断完善及GIS软件供应商的广泛支持,GML已经成为事实上的空间数据编码、传输、存储、发布的国际标准,越来越多的空间数据开始以GML格式存储。如何有效地存储管理GML空间数据,已经成为GIS研究的热点问题。首次尝试利用Oracle数据库对GML数据进行存储管理,采用Oracle XML DB提供的3种存储方式,分别对其进行存储,并分析比较。利用Oracle数据库存储GML空间数据的研究,将有利于推动GIS之间的数据共享及Web GIS的发展。

Abstract: With the continuous perfection of GML standards and the wide support of GIS software suppliers, GML has in fact become an international standard for spatial data coding, transmission, storage and distribution, and more and more spatial data have been stored in GML format. How to effectively store and manage GML spatial data has been the focus of GIS research. It is the first time to attempt to use Oracle database to store and manage GML data. Comparative analysis is made among the three storage means provided by Oracle XML DB for GML data storage. The study on the storage of GML data in Oracle database will facilitate the data share among GIS softwares and the development of Web GIS.
