煤系高岭土低温煅烧降低COD增加有序度试验

Experimental Research on Low-temperature Calcination of Coal-series Kaolin to Reduce the COD and Improve the Order Degree

摘要: 对湖北兴山某COD值较高的煤系高岭土进行了低温煅烧试验研究。结果表明,在425 ℃情况下煅烧0.5 h,COD值可从1.005 6×10-2降至2.523×10-3,满足玻璃纤维用高岭土对COD值的要求。煅烧前后产品的XRD和红外图谱对比分析表明:低温煅烧不仅能有效去除高岭土原料中绝大部分的有机质,降低产品的COD值,还能有效地保存原料中绝大部分的结构水,确保玻纤配料的活性和微区搅拌功能,同时提高产品的有序度。

Abstract: A low-temperature calcination test of coal-series Kaolin with high COD from Xingshan of Hubei Province was studied. The results showed that the COD value was reduced from 1.0056×10-2 to 2.523×10-3 when the kaolin was roasted for 0.5 h at 425 ℃,which met the requirement of glass fiber for kaolin on COD. Contrasting and analyzing the XRD and IR spectra of product before and after calcinations,it is showed that low-temperature calcination not only could remove most of organic material from kaolin to reduce the COD value,but also can effectively save the vast constitution water in kaolin,which could ensure the activity of glass fiber material and the mixing function of micro area,and moreover improve the order degree of product.
