Abstract: The paper analyzes the significance of creating digital mine-map template files, and it demonstrates the concept of the digital mine-map template files and its primarily creating basis, and introduces their creation process and key technologies, including the settings of the graphical boundaries, drawing units, coordinate system, layers, linear, line width, color, text style, marked style and layout etc.Then, the attention on application of digital mine-map template files is put forward. Creation of different types of digital mine-map template files increases the speed of drawing and ensures the standard consistency of a variety of graphic files.
