Abstract: This paper introduced the current situation of copper resources at home and abroad, and carried out the survey of copper production and copper consumption in recent years. Because of the conflict between domestic copper supply-demand and domestic low-grade copper resources, it propored a way that the investments on the reclaimed copper and the copper hydrometallurgy method should be increased, especially on research of synthesis of copper extraction. Then the formation of the independent copper extraction industry chain can realize a healthy and stable development of the domestic copper enterprises.
