碱式硫酸镁晶须表面改性研究

摘要: 为了改善碱式硫酸镁晶须的表面性质,提高碱式硫酸镁晶须与有机基体材料的相容性,以活化指数和接触角为改性效果评价指标,采用化学包覆法对自制的碱式硫酸镁晶须进行了表面改性研究。结果表明:适于碱式硫酸镁晶须表面改性的改性剂为油酸钾;在油酸钾用量为2%、改性晶须料浆浓度为4%,改性时间为30 min,改性温度为80 ℃,搅拌速度为600 r/min条件下,可以获得较好的表面改性效果,改性碱式硫酸镁晶须的活化指数达到99.35%,接触角为126.8°。

Abstract: In order to improve the surface property of basic magnesium sulfate whiskers and its compatibility with organic matrix material, study on the surface modification of self-made basic magnesium sulfate whiskers was made by chemical coating method, with the activation index and contact angle as the evaluation indicators for modification effect.The results indicate that the suitable modifier for basic magnesium sulfate whiskers is potassium oleate.At a potassium oleate dosage of 2%, pulp concentration of 4%, modification time of 30 min, modification temperature of 80 ℃, and an agitation speed of 600 r/min, a good surface modification effect can be achieved, with the activation index of the modified basic magnesium sulfate whiskers reaching 99.35% and the contact angle being 126.8°.
