Abstract: The paper analyzes the load-fracturing depth cure of rock fragmentation under combined dynamic and static loads and concludes that the reasonable loading point of the combined loads is at a time when there is a rock volumetric fracture, debris outbreak and then a sufficient compression of the original compacted body. A fracture and damage mechanics analysis is made of the rock fragmentation under dynamic-static combined loads. It is concluded that broken volume will increase rapidly with an increase in the static pressure and impact in certain scope, thereby enhancing the efficiency of rock fragmentation; and the best effect of rock fragmentation will occur when an impact load is applied after a volume fracture due to the pre-static load.
