Abstract: Inclined narrow flow classifier is a new efficient gravity classifying device. To better control the equipment performance, the paper, by combining the theoretical computation and the equipment application practice, analyzes the correlation of the efficiency of inclined narrow flow classifier with the feed particle size and density. The analysis indicates that the best classification efficiency of the equipment occurs when treating high density materials at a classification size of 0.037~0.1mm. In its application in treating feed pulp in Pan Steel's Titanium Concentrator, the classification efficiency is as high as 79.70% at a classification size of 0.063mm and a density of 3.9×10-3 g/mm3.
