Abstract: In implementing the spirit and scientific development concept of 17th CPC National Congress, WuSteel Mining Co.was the first in China to put forward the slogan of building a forest-like mine, summarized its important significance and formulated its index system.It stresses on a land reclamation rate of over 35% for the recent period and of over 60% for a long run, a forest coverage of the mining area of over 40% and a plant survival rate of over 90%, which have been gradually popularized and stepwise implemented.The company has won titles of “Asian Largest Manual Hard-rock Dump Reclamation Base” represented by Daye Iron Mine and “National Advanced Greening Collective”, setting up a good example for the construction and development of mine enterprises in China.
