Abstract: Multi-colored sintered porous decorative bricks were produced at different calcination temperatures by integral tinting and one-step forming using the coal gangue from Liaoning Chaoyang Hualong Group as raw material and industrial colorants of iron red, iron yellow and chromium green and low grade braunite for tinting. The bricks thus made have compression strength higher than 67 MPa and fine colors.A new way has thus been explored for the comprehensive utilization of coal gangue.
