Abstract: In view of the actual situation of Xiadian gold mine, and based on the investigation on the on-site mining methods and ground monitoring, FLAC3D is adopted to make a numerical simulation analysis on the rock movement influenced by the mined-out area. The analysis results show that under the current production conditions, no effect on the surface occurs by the mining.Meanwhile, based on temporal evolution simulation model of granular flow, the computer simulation system of surface settlement for Xiadian Gold Mine is developed, and the simulation results are given. It is believed that within the experimental range, mining has no effect on surface with the loose factor exceeded to 1.2.The computer simulation results provide a scientific basis for decision-making of the mine, and also make a good attempt for further studying the surface subsidence caused by underground mining.
