Influence of Reagent Species on Graphite Purification with Roasting Alkali-acid Method

Abstract: A brief description on the primary principle of graphite purification in alkali-acid method and correlated response occurring in roasting process was given.The paper mainly discussed the influence of reagent species in roasting on graphite purification,and the differences among different agents at various temperatures.An attempt was made on purifying graphite in other reagents.It was analyzed by theory that the reagent species have a great effect on refining effects,and the alkalinity of reagent could directly affect the degree of the reaction between reagent and impurity,so reagent species has a close relationship with refining effects.Furthermore,promotion of raising temperature on refining effects of different reagents was quite distinct too,which was proved by the experiment.From this perspective,exploration was made to seek the approaches of making the refining effect better,decreasing cost,and improving alkali-acid method.
