Abstract: Comparing with the chemical analysis, X-ray fluorescence analysis has feature of more efficiency and lower cost. With proper technique, X-ray fluorescence analysis can substitute the chemical analysis in a certain extent to rapidly get the ultimate composition and the content of the drilling cores. The borehole cores of ZK1601 and ZK12101 at Huang Shaping are measured, and the variation relationship between the contents of Cu, As, Ca, Cr, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb, Sr, Ti, W, Pb, Zn, with the depth are given. And combining with geophysical and geochemical exploration, the enrichment depth of copper mine and the other elements are successfully delimited. That X-ray fluorescence analysis is effective in measurement of drilling cores.
