Transformation Technique from CAD Mine Map to GIS Mine Map

Abstract

Abstract: This paper expounds the differences between CAD mine map and GIS mine map and the necessity of the transformation from CAD mine map to GIS mine map.Meanwhile, the process of the transformation and the considerations are stated under the environment of AutoCAD Map 3D.Taking the real mine map of Licun Coal Mine as a case, the steps in transition from CAD mine map to GIS mine map under AutoCAD Map 3D are described.
