Abstract: Underground engineering structures losing its stability is possibly induced by cave-in mine tremor, resulting in large cave-in of rocks roof in mined-out area.Based on velocity to measure the shock strength of mine, this paper summarized the relationship between the vibration velocity of base rock and the potential energy of fall rocks by the laboratory impact experiment of rock block fallings.Based on this, through tests of throwing rocks, the vibration effect caused by the impact of rocks to floor and the attenuation rules of velocity in rock layers are discussed and studied, establishing a strength prediction model of the cave-in mine tremor in mined-out area.
