Abstract: Under the co-action of external and internal structure, the coal rock layered slope possibly results in the massive landslide. With application of the maximum tensile stress theory, the creep rupture judgment criteria are established and the initiation, expansion and gathering of the creep cracks are described by the finite element.Based on the programmed creep rupture module by FEPG software, cracks are generated at the vertical direction of first principal stress vector, then expended to find the maximum of the first principal stress. When it reached the tensile strength, the creep cracks happened. This process is continuously cycled.Taking the slope of Haizhou National Open-pit Park as a research case, the creep rupture of coal (rock) separate layer is simulated.Combining with the on-site monitoring, the result of real measurement is coincided with that of the simulation, which provides a basis for the coal (rock) slope support and prevention of the disaster.
