Experimental Study of a Lead-zinc Polymetallic Ore Containing Highly Pyrite From Yunnan Province

Abstract: Studied the technological mineralogy of a lead-zinc polymetallic ore which contain highly pyrite from yunnan province,and established the principle flowsheet of beneficiation test process by it.Carriedout a detailed study about flotation agents system of lead and zinc,and the closed-circuit test according to the research.The results indicated that it could obtain the lead concentrate with 43.15% grade and 73.37% recovery; the zinc concentrate with 47.25% grade and 84.94% recovery; the pyrite concentrate with 48.10% grade and 74.05% recovery.The study results also indicated that the copper content in lead concentrate and zinc concentrate was lowly,were 1.57% and 1.30%,which reached the recover required of smelting,the copper recovery in lead concentrate and zinc concentrate were 23.66% and 28.69%,the total recovery was 52.35%.
