Research on Beneficiation-Metallurgy Technology for Low-Grade Oxidized Wulfenite in Xiaoqinling Area

Abstract: The low-grade oxidized wulfenite in Xiaoqinling area contains Mo 0.078% and Pb 0.34%, the rate of Mo and lead oxide are 64.02% and 58.06% respectively, and the useful mineral is fine-grained and disseminated closely.This ore is studied by the beneficiation-metallurgy combination process:molybdenum lead bulk flotation- leaching molybdenum oxide by sodium sulfide method-recovery of molybdenum sulfide and lead sulfide by flotation from the leaching residue.As the results showed, the molybdenum oxide with the grade of Mo 64.03%, the molybdenum sulfide with the grade of Mo 12.56% and the lead concentration with the grade of lead 43.07% were obtained under the conditions determined by experiments, and the total recovery rate of Mo and lead were 75.06% and 66.17% respectively.
