Analysis on Recovery of Residual Point Pillars and Stability of Mined-out Areas in Lingxiang Iron Mine

Abstract: In view of the influence of the recovery of residual point pillars at mined-out areas on the overlying strata and surface facilities in Lingxiang Iron Mine,the stoping process of the residual point pillars were simulated with FEM,indicating the stress change law and stress distribution of roof and verifying the feasibility of the recovery.According to the stress variety in the stoping process,it is recommended that the second stoping scheme be a lot safer and AE monitoring points be laid out at No.2 and No.5 pillars.
